Currently All Fancy Puppies are Sold Spay/Neuter Contract ONLY
In order to start the purchasing process, you must first put down a consult/holding fee. This fee is taken off the total purchase price and is nonrefundable. When you pay this fee, the puppy will be marked as sold or removed on all advertising websites. You have up to 8 weeks after the puppy's birth to pay your puppy off in full. The methods of payment I now except has changed drastically due to fraud… I and others have experienced.
All puppies come with a 1-year congenital health guarantee, we give the first Distemper/ Parvo vaccine, multiple de worming's, and a Florida Health Certificate. I also send home a basic puppy starter kit which includes some food, toys and potty pads. They have been well socialized and already started potty training to pee pads.
I am producing many sizes right now with most puppies weighing 6-12 lbs. I do not guarantee size I can only give a close estimate from prior litters and the pair bred.
I own both the Parents. I observe puppy development every day and by 8-12 weeks have a pretty good idea of how their personalities are shaping up to be. I do require a contract and have all possible Puppy Parents read this prior to placing a deposit. I reserve the right to determine when my puppies are ready for their new homes and who I place them with. Not every home is right for a Shih Tzu Puppy. That is a judgement I have the right to reserve.
I am very thorough with my dogs and am cautious with their health and genetics.
I ask that you research umbilical hernias, inguinal hernias, stenotic snares, pinched nostrils, collapsed trachea's, open fontanel, cherry eye, dew claws (we do not remove these,) and stool eating.
These are very common in Shih Tzu's. Some of these do not affect the quality of life, where others are genetic problems, you do not want in a puppy or dog.
The three I commonly get are umbilical hernias which I do not discount or cover in my guarantee, swollen nostrils during teething at 8 weeks and again at 6 months, and lastly open fontanels, which generally close by 3 months, in smaller puppies up to 6 months of age. I do not remove dew claws and even though some of my puppies copy mom and stool eat 90% grow out of it by a year. Please be familiar with these terms before deciding on a Shih Tzu.
I live in Florida and am located in a very woodsy area. We have Racoons, Coyotes, Fox, and Possums that not only live in my very neighborhood but visit my house and property. For this reason, we give multiple de worming's. This is not always 100% effective, and we have, in some occasions seen Tape worm, Hook worm, and Coccidia. We do fully treat on the rare occasion this pops up. These are also not covered in my contract though no puppy should ever go home without a negative fecal.
