Male or Female Puppy?
I’m often asked if I have female puppies available, and when I inquire why, the response is usually based on misconceptions about males being more aggressive or prone to marking. The truth is, in the Shih Tzu world, males often have calmer, sweeter temperaments compared to females. While this may not apply to every dog, it’s true for the majority.
When neutered at the right time (before they start lifting their leg or by age one), males typically do not mark. Since I only sell to pet homes, marking is rarely an issue.
Females are wonderful too, but they tend to be a bit more independent, which I’ve consistently observed in my household. My advice? Don’t overlook a male puppy—they’re incredibly affectionate, loyal, and will bring years of love and companionship. Both genders have their own unique charms, so focus on finding the puppy that’s the best fit for your family!

Accepted methods include check, credit/debit card (with a 4% processing fee), Venmo, Klarna and Zelle. Final payment must be made in cash unless otherwise agreed upon before the puppy reaches 8 weeks of age. To secure your puppy, I recommend reserving at 4 weeks old, as they tend to find homes quickly. Prices are subject to change, and you may also join the waitlist for an upcoming litter.
